Are Old Lures Worth Money?

Many people wonder if old fishing lures are worth any money. The fact of the matter is that they can be very valuable and worth a lot of money. It really depends on the brand because some lures are worth more than others. It also depends on how rare the lure is, when it was made, the condition it’s in, and if it comes in the original packaging. Having the original box can make the lure more valuable.

But don’t just take my word for it! Check out this article at Wide Open Spaces about “9 Vintage Fishing Lure’s Worth More Than You’d Imagine.” If you have any of these lures, I’d say you may be in for a big surprise.

Do You Buy Newer Lures?

Actually, yes. Sometimes I buy lures that are not really considered “old” or “antique”. As a collector, I am always interested in any kind of lures, including ones that aren’t vintage. If you have a newer lure that you are interested in selling, just contact me and end me a picture for a free appraisal.
